Desert Vulture is a UK-based music blog, established on November 2021 by Ioannis Valiakos. Without, however, the invaluable aid of my one true “vulture” and her patience with WordPress, this blog might have never seen the light of day.
We are a member of the Doom Charts, a network that includes some of the finest bloggers, journalists, radio and podcasters, album reviewers from the doom-stoner underground around the globe.
Drawing inspiration on some of the greatest blogs on the scene, my aim is to review new albums from the broader underground scene of heavy sound and offer bands with some exposure for their work. While I intend to keep up with the amazing albums that come out daily, this is impossible, as this blog is a one-man operation. Hopefully, I should have a few reviews uploaded per month and see how it goes.
As such, I am currently unable to accept unsolicited submissions. If you wish me to review your work, please submit it to the Doom Charts and I will do my best to pick it up from there. If you are happy with the review, please share it to your audience and help the blog grow.
