Bandcamp Fridays Announced for 2022

Bandcamp Fridays will continue for at least another four dates in 2022, as announced yesterday by Ethan Diamond on Bandcamp Daily. Confirmed dates so far are February 4th, March 4th, April 1st, and May 6th. If you are on different parts of the world and you want to see a timer on when a Bandcamp Friday is on, check out https://isitbandcampfriday.com/

If you are wondering about numbers, according to Bandcamp Daily, ever since Bandcamp Fridays were launched in March 2020, in seventeen (17) of those days fans bought a staggering $70 million worth of music and merch. Further according to the same source, while on a Bandcamp Friday an average of 93% of your money reaches the artists and labels (after payment processor fees), any other day is always a good day to purchase directly from artists on Bandcamp, as an average of 82% still ends up in the pockets of artists and labels.

So make a note of the next Bandcamp Friday, February 4th; update your inventories if you are a band, update those wish lists if you are a fan, and support your favourite underground artists!
